To Save Her

Destiny of the Sword: To Save Her is the second book in the fantasy/adventure trilogy, and it picks up where book one left off. Ayden goes on a coming-of-age quest for eternal love and to uncover the secrets of his cursed bloodline. His journey will take him to a faraway world only whispered of in campfire tales, but he discovers what he thought was always real to him was only a fraction of the truth. The trials he must face will challenge his purity and ultimately reveal his true self. But will his family’s past be his destiny as well?

The age of man will be on the verge of extinction as swords and sorcery rise in battle, and gods and men collide. Only together can they overcome the darkness, and only if they believe will they ever have a fighting chance. However, to fight for what one believes, points the heart with the greatest intent, but sometimes guides to an end that is sharper than the sword.

Book two was a long time in the making. It was actually almost released in 2009, but the stars scattered, the world kept turning, and the story patiently waited on me. Life often nudges us one direction or another, and fate kept the second installment of Destiny locked away—but never forgotten.

Screenwriting stole my heart and my determination, and while I was learning to be a better script artist, the fantasy adventure that began it all was still whispering to me to release it from the shadows. Eventually, I polished it up, put some fancy clothes on it, and pulled back the curtain. Now it’s out there in the world trying to make it in this town, just like everyone else.

Good luck, kid! Shoot, I know you got this.
